There is no difference between the individual forum categories. They work exactly the same except for an id #. 

Are you getting the "Login is required to post in the forums" popup after clicking the "New Thread" or "Reply" button, or are you sent to the login page after trying to submit a post? What browser and version?  Have you tried on a different browser or a different machine? The way it knows who you are is by a cookie your browser sends each time you ask for a new page. If that cookie isn't getting sent then you aren't "logged in" on that page.
