I myself am partial to Sadelco meters as the best bang for the buck. But I am unfamiliar with Docsis anything let alone Docsis 3 so cannot comment fairly beyond the fact that the Trialithic is a well revered meter as has already been mentioned. I myself am not fond of the Trialithic, but to be fair it has been years since I have used/seen one, and I am sure they have changed drastically since then.
If I were in the market for a meter today, it would be between a Wavetech Stealth or a Trialithic and price/feature would most likely be the swaying factor...for me anyway.
