You totally missed the point. Yes I know the state shut the idea down. Read that yesterday. The point is, WHY even generate an idea of this ignorance. Simply answer, they are playing with other people's money, not their's. Otherwise they would have orchestrated this ignorant plan with their budget. It is not the $35/student, it is the fact that when you get handouts you don't need you find stupid ways to spend money. By the way if you read the article where they scrapped the plan they were going to spend $150 on each i-pod according to the article in the polk county paper. So not all parents of the 10000 students would get one. Wonder what the criteria was to get an i-pod?
