I know from waterfowl that we need more power and shot to do less damage with steel. I used 7 1/2 duck n pheasant lead shot. Now depending on how the birds are working use bb to 4 shot. The steel just isnt the same as the lead was. Cripples swimming or flying off is a common theme on the water now. Cant go wrong with Hornady's load. Was waiting to see how the big game hunters handle the change.
