Re: Question to Republicans

Do you know the reason they charge $7 for a tylenol? When you don't pay it, they get a huge tax write off. And anyone who has ever been involved with large medical bills, you can make an offer to the hospital for substantially less than face value and more often than not, they will accept it. I had one bill alone for a week in the ICU for almost 70,000 and I had no insurance at the time. The hospital and the doctors settled it for 1 percent of the bill because of my condition and even that they put on payments.

Does healthcare have issues, absolutly. But what these idiots are proposing is devestating to the medical as well as fiscal systems of the entire country. And for what. Do you really believe the same government that runs medicare/medicaid can now all of a sudden run a medical insurance system?

PS guess what medical insurer has the largest number of coverage rejections...............medicare.
