Still do it the same way.....The standard cable for dish installation has a ground wire. This is often confused with the messenger wire the cable folks use.
It is this ground wire that is used to tie service loops and lead the cable away from the dish. Just cut off what you need. There will be some scrap any way you do it. It is also often used to attach the cable to the back of downspouts when vinyl siding corners are not available.
When you finish the job you also tie your ladder to the truck with the same stuf,f just like the cable dawgs do.
