Sure, RCH is a legit company, and will pay you when promised. That is the upshot.
Now, the down.
You will use your own truck and pay your own gas, insurance, phone bills, office expense, copies, and more.
The pay for discos is very low.
The pay for a box pick up is also very low.
The pay for a modem retrieval is ridiculous.
The commission for a "full" save $7 for the save, plus 7% of the amount saved
No time off. They will ride you to work every day of the week.
Who owns this company? In one area you will be getting checks from "RCH" Revolution Cable Holdings, in another area, you are working for "RCH" but the name will be different. In other areas they are "Meridian Cable" or one of many other corporate names built in case of emergency bail out.
They will squeeze you for everything they can work out of you. You will in return get:
No retirement plan at all.
No profit sharing.
No company benefits.
No bonuses.
No company truck.
No company phone.
You pay for your own uniforms.
You pay for your own laptop and/or computer.
You supply the GPS system for your travels.
I have nothing against RCH, the managers are personable, and do a good job for their company. As an employee, however, you can expect to watch the managers spend lots of money while you have none.
