I got out almost a year ago from almost 14 years in Satellite/Cable, everyone is right, only job I know of that the longer and harder you work, the less money you make, the only raise is the price of materials and gas; best bet is to find a good retailer or try doing your own work, put ad's up on craigslist and advertise your skills, i did that for a while lasts summer and actualy did very good, $75 to add an outlet, $50 basic service calls, $150 home theater basic install, it takes a lil time, but it can add up quick
And your working for yourself, your schedule, your customers.
