Re: should you get paid for down time


Im not asleep.  Im not saying give them any free time.  I was just saying that you dont have to go by the warehouse to check in.  Why dont you read my freakin post first?

I dont know why you think just because you cut your PDA on that your suppose to get paid.  Your telling me you should get paid from driving from your house to the first site of the day.  How does that work?  Even if you did construction somewhere different everyday that would not be the case.  If a guy had to call his boss every morning and say  "hey boss, where you need me today?"  That doesnt mean that guy should start getting paid at that time.  What are you thinking?  You are the reason that people will have to go by the warehouse everyday in the morning. 

I agree with you about the drive time and all that stuff at the end of the day and having to do paperwork.  That is still work.  Fueling is a part of work but not cutting your pda on.
