you can inject a carrier at any active, then check it off the reciever to see if its close,, your injection level depends on your Equipments specs,, heres a pic 10 min hold off the reciever ,, this pic shows 54.45 C/N with the 2 markers,,i think we was injecting around 42 db (@ 25mhz to keep away from digi haystackwhich ran around 32 mhz) on last active in cascade, also used this method on proper level of digital carrier (haystack), if you have mer/ber probs check this haystack level,, just tryin to help
