thats a loaded question, the key thing is to get a schematic of the amps return path and see what plug ins such as diplex filters and dc's splitters or feeder makers are between the trunk leg and hybrid compared to the losses between feeder leg and hybrid for instance sa 870 all return legs have the same loss they go from the set screw to 3way combiner and then to the hybrid, 750 ccor trunk goes from the set screw to a 2 way combiner but the feeder go through a dc or splitter or jumper then to another 2way and then to the same two way as the trunk. and 450 jerrold trunk goes straight to 2 way combiner and the feeder legs go thorough the 1,2,3,4 way feeder maker before going to the return path. lots of variables so find schematic i have several pdf amp manual p.m. me if you need help. nomad
