I want to protect the rights of individuals. I am not gay but I dont care if someone else is. I was saying I dont care what they do with their dicks. It is not the governments job to police the bedroom. Why do you care what someone does in the bedroom? Lets be real, when your in a combat situation the last thing your thinking about is if somebody is a fucking homo. Is a fag less capable of defending this country?
Its also not just as simple as DADT. If they are "found out" that they are gay they are still kicked out. I dont want to see them holding hands and such on the bases and at war or dancing around the base listening to "Its raining men" but there is conduct that is expected of everyone in these circumstances.
Just in case you havent noticed, war is evil. To murder is evil, self preservation is not in my opinion and war is a necessity for that reason. The only thing is not all wars that we have engaged in have been for self preservation. This makes them evil.
