Come on Doug. Seriously, the republicans have voted, at a rate of 90% of them and 100% of the time, to vote against any reforms on wall street. They are on the side of Big Business and special interest groups. The Dems at least gave what Republicans wanted alot of times in the last 10 or 15 years. The republicans do nothing but say no to this President. THe party of NO to people and Yes to big business. If Republicans had their way we would be working 80 hours a week with no overtime and for 4 dollars an hour. We would have no Social Security. Why in the hell do they want to get rid of Social Security so bad? THey really think its better to save and put all our money in the private sector? Social Security is meant to be a failsafe for us. We already invest in our retirement in the private sector. What happends to that when the stock market crashes? It disappears, thats what.
