the thing with the record companies is that until u progress, u hav to do it the way they want u to do it, and its there ball game untill u make it a success, record companies are bullshit like that, nad of corse the you hav to do it there way, theres alota bullshit when in the studio, everyone plays the song together for the first then eveyone goes back and plays there part individually, theres alota bullshit when dealin with the record labels and contracts, then the editor has to come in and mix it around then the producer comes in and it aint always easy to reacord a song, sumtimes it takes a couple days worth of time to actrually get one full song recored and done proper, and if ur first albumn is a big hit, then they cut u more slack there on its not all easy and all its cracked up to be, now if u got a writer riting ur songs (for example) then between the writer and the editor and producer they take like and 80% of the earning leavin the bands wioth 20% mainly on the first albumn theres alot to it then just goin in there and recording a song or albumn and having it all sed in done with just a cuple days or week or so, and of corse it costs so damn much to go in there and record, with studio time, bands can spend up to thousands and tens of thousands worth of recording time to make just one albumn
