Hawkeye is right they are great dogs, had one as a kid. They tend to adopt 1 member of the family as "Their Human" They also need a lot of attention or they will chew and dig in everything. They are easy to train because they are vary smart. That's the main reason they need a lot of attention. If you ever saw the movie My Dog Skip they are a lot like the JR in the movie. Good luck I'm sure your love your new dog.
