The installers did this to themselves over the last year or so. I've read pretty near all the post on how they were going to stick it to the prime for treating them as employees and paying them as contractors.
Well... you got your wish. The Feds are all over this BS now. No one is going to hire a 1099 installer anymore because of this, and now that there liabilty insurance has gone up 600% because they have employees vs contractors... there rates have followed suit.
You made the bed... now you can lay in it.
And no I don't have an install contract... I don't really care about the subject other than I thought it was interesting how you guys buried yourselves.
