If you are an employee they should pay for gas! If you have to pay for the gas to get you to the jobs that they assign you, keep the receipts and  at the end of the week request to be reimbursed for the money by the company in a separate check so that you will not be taxed on it. If they pay you and put it in your pay-check, you will be taxed on it.
