hey 330   drops dont hav an exact depth it all depends on what the specs are, out here in louisiana  with cox  its 8 inch specs, back home with sorry ass comcast  it was 3 inches   and sum place it 10 and 12  it all varies, if i were u  which is also what i do now  id stay with drops,  especially if ur originally a mainline tech, cuz theres always drop work sumwhere there aint always mainline work  anywhere
