The guy does have a point. EVERY schitzo freak that can't hold a job, has nothing better to do than sit at home, watch cable and make your life hell, is your boss basically when you are in the install biz. I started on the bottom of this biz installing as a contractor in '89. Every city has a shithole and that is where they give the contractors their work. You work with real "special" people every day. Point is, trying to please every whiney customer can really wear down the "give a shit 'bout your problem" factor.
Even as a splicer now ,I still have to deal with the occassional old lady that is mad 'cause she got kicked off her internet. " I had a stroke and all I have is my cable tv now." they say. Get a freaking book I say! I am just bringing you the latest in technology and doing my job, give me a break...
