21 channels ran that telethon. I am curious..........what happened when Sri Lanka lost 200,000 people? Did they have a telethon? How about when California was burning up and all those people lost their homes? What is it about Haiti that has everyone in this country freaking about beyond the normal help? It is consuming the news. And if we go to cnn we will see wall to wall coverage. What has happened to the rest of the news? Did news quit because there was an earthquake in Haiti? Yes it is tragic. Let's help but the world is still here and we need to know about the rest of it. So many of those people refuse to even help themselves. Too bad there isn't a way to help the ones that are trying and let the ones who expect a handout be served last.
