True, its common for them (sat cons.) A lot of guys believe it. By the time you get good at the job you have already realized your not going to get rich. BTW Dish does the same thing to them, (dish plays everyone off everyone else) although they always come out better than the sub. The thing is, if there is no or very little cost associated with having employees, there is nothing to constrain someone from hiring too many guys. Which they then play off each other, the same way the actual contract holders are played off each other and the same way the in house guys are off the contractors. As far as background checks, drugtest and taxes, give me a break.
