Re: New meter from Directv !cool!! is coming next


It is called the AIM (advanced installation meter) it was designed by DTV and being made by some meter company (cant remember the name) it does read the 99 & 103 satellites it powers swm without the need for running the cables 1st and also has the installation verification process built in so you run the test at the dish and will pass at the receiver unless cabling issues or something else keeps it from passing I have heard it is going to cost around $300-400 and I think it is still a few months away from being deployed.
