the only thing I would say is different is the pulling tensel strength and the bending radious. Like pulling any other fiber you can't pull it to hard or you cause cracks in the glass and you can't bend it to far or you cause micro bends and cracks both cause light loss and reflections. But if you watch what your doing you should be able to plow a fiber drop in without a problem. My guys do it with a walk behind plow that they also use for coax drops.
