How much is that? Everything? Our quality is going down in case you haven't noticed. It isn't a direction I am looking forward to paying more for. It costs too much to go do anything anymore. Part of that is because of all the extra taxes businesses have to pay so that gets passed on to the consumer. The airlines have to pay more for security (you didn't think that came solely out of taxes did you? It is a "fee" that is just another tax) so we have to pay more for tickets. Something we didn't have to pay. Our property taxes here are going up 1 to 5 percent even though housing is down. How does that happen? That means our assessment, which is the value the city puts on our house, is going up even the value of our property went down because of the economy. More government at work taking more when things are worth less and we are making less.
