Every person that runs for political office says that they are for the little guy. Once elected, they quickly forget about the little guy that got them there. They realize how much power that they have now and decide to use that power for personal gain.
Term limits for Congress, period. No political action committees, or special interest groups that have the politician's ear. No closed door dealings period. Everything needs to be done in the open, with video cameras aimed right at them.
When it comes right down to it though, no body wants to do anything about it. So we all just bitch about.
