First off, until enough techs rise up and sue DTV for making them install phone lines when you aren't certified to do phone then nothing will ever change. What you guys don't understand is that in order to even open the NID and hook up a new phone drop you are supposed to be trained and certified in phone install and repair. If something goes wrong with their phone lines then you are responsible for the repair bill. One good thing is the beta testing on the new one receiver system on SWIM. Until that comes out, I will never return to DTV.
