Although, even with the corrective re-quote from #1: "Whatever we once were, we are no longer just a Christian nation." ... The president is still wrong. We ARE a Christian nation still to this day. As a nation, our ideals and goals are based on the bible. The US Constitution is Christian based. As a nation we are tolerant of differing religions amongst our populous and THIS is what makes us great.
The muslims, jews, buddists, scientologists, and every other non-Christian based religion have accepted the freedom to live and prosper under a CHRISTIAN based Constitution. If they had found that they could not live in the USA because we are a Christian Nation, then they never would have moved here in the first place. A Buddist from France can very easily have moved to Tibet to live amongst a higher buddist population. They come to America instead because of liberty and freedom. They know that they will not be killed or jailed because of thier religion. We are an inclusive nation when it comes to religion.
Obama was, and still is, wrong. We are a Christian nation.
