True story:
There was a "newbe" I was training and I asked him if he ever saw the Mikes hard lemonade commercials that are in the above link, he told me that he didn't. One day I was on the pole and he was trying to throw me the rope and kept throwing it at my feet. I told him, "Aim between the eyes, if I miss it, its my fault."
He told me one day that he did see the Mikes hard lemonade commercial and thought it was hilarious.
He became a GREAT ground hand, and I taught him to climb and then how to do line work. He was pretty good and then we hired another "newbe" and it was his turn to train. I was watching one day when his ground hand was trying to throw him the rope and kept throwing it at his feet. He said, "Aim between the eyes, if I miss it's my fault."
One day he was on the pole and I was working as his ground hand. I threw him the rope and "WHAM" right between the eyes.
I had to take him to the hospital and he got 7 stitches at the top of his nose, and you guessed it, when we left I took him to the bar and bought him a Mikes hard limonaide.
