OK NRB1, what should we do with "these boys"?? I am all for throwing them all a ticker tape parade. I have no idea where you are going with your "not from Iraq" approach. But I suspect that the closed boarders, difficulty obtaining a visa, and over lack of funds, would probably explain it. I will tell you this, any man or woman in uniform that I come across is drinking for free that night.
