Are you saying that you expect the POTUS to be able to force all Congressman to televise any conversation they have with one another??? C'mon man,you are not serious. Congress is in the legislative branch of governmnet. The POTUS is in the evecutive branch. The POTUS has the power to call Congress into emergency session. But he does not have the power to command congress telivise any INFORMAL interactions they have with one another. For some reason, people think this guy is an Emperor or something. CAn you imagine if Obama triedtomake the GOP televise their meeting?
Reid came up with the managers amendment, and it was debated ON THE FLOOR, it was televised. The OFFICIAL talks are televised. When Congress is not in session, NOTHING is official. The IMPORTANT things are on TV. What more do you want? EVen better question is what more do you this th POTUS can do? He's not a King, and his powers are limited.
