object all you want.
my line of reasoning....spending 32000 dollars on something that might save millions of dollars for taxpayers isnt a terrible idea. do you object on moral reasons? some sense of right or wrong?
work harder on getting it off the streets? umm...are you serious? do you not have any contact with drug users? reducing the supply for an addiction like that only drives the costs up, making it more profitable to bring it into the country. the more you take off the street, the more money there is in it. the demand never goes away. the best bet is fighting the addiction but not very many people come back after going down that road.
educating someone how to use a needle is not equal to legalizing the drug and it is not equal to killing yourself and wrecking your families' lives, so i reject those comments as something you are using for effect more than a logical conclusion.
calling it reality allows a person to come up with a solution that might actually work. calling it reality means you have a chance of finding a real solution.
