That's great that you got your check before Christmas!

The company I was working for refused to overnight my first check from them, despite waiting over a month for that check. I offered to pay for the overnight costs at MY EXPENSE so I could get the check on Christmas eve! All they had to do was use my Fedex number ... but no.... they refused to do even that. I was broke .... no money for Christmas. I couldn't even afford the gas for the 350+ mile round trip to pick up the check, but they did finally offer to mail the check to me, so I got it well after Christmas. Needless to say, I won't be working for them again.

I'm not saying this because I want someone to feel sorry for me. It's just that I don't understand the thought process of some of the companies out there.

I hate being broke!!! Talk about being kicked when you're down, lol.
