who is you mso. others are right with db loss 1.5 on low end and 5-6 on high end... the time warner system that i worked in nebraska  taps were hot and you could run over 200 ft and still run an eight way without an amp..... also work for cox in nebraska and the average drop with rg6 was about 125 to run a four way and as long as you had positive signal after the splits for voip and hsd they amped everything
