While you are, of course, entitled to your opinion(s), I for one do not agree. The key role in this business is the customers. even the "nasty people", because without them there would be no demand for our services. The lineman would not have a job without the installers and vice versa.
This is normal human behavior guess, but that doesn't make it right. Not one of us is any better than the other. As physical/mental a job as a lineman is, an installers job is equally, albeit differently, as physical/mental. I was an installer/special projects for the first 7 years of my career, then lineman/splicer/supervisor the following 20 years. All these jobs are unique yet are intertwined for the success of the company. And each is a difficult job to perform.
