For the realy old timers, like me , 1972.(and still climbing) It was called a baker board. The rest of these guys  will tell you what it is. Phone splicers used them for long periods on a pole. You can eather stand or sit on them. Now we have bucket trucks. They are a bitch to set up,and don't know why anyone would use them now days. I think they went out with bosens chairs.
God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.
