I dont know how you can put a lien on the customer. I also dont know why you would. Is the customer the one who didnt pay you? Or is a contractor stealing from you. The only thing I have been able to do in the past is put a lein on the equipment entrusted in me from the contractor.I/E receivers and things of that nature. Usually when the contractor see's that you have $3000 worth of dvrs in your locked warehouse and you have a lein from the court they cut a check. I have taken a sherrif to the office when I make the trade, "check for equipment". Its good to have a unbiased witness w/ a glock. Never return equipment until you get your last check.
