I go by a simple rule.  Dont get somebody to do a job tht you are not willing to do yourself.  I has a supervisor that tried that shit.  I told him that in that case he needed to go up.  After he looked at it for awhile.  He said nevermind.  It just shows that most supervisors (not all) are absolute dumbasses.  Nothing but pencil pushers and barking out orders.
