Good question...I quess I call it "old School" because so much has changed in just the last 10 years it's like
the old addage my parent used. My father was a lineman for the phone company and actually taught me
how to climb. He used to refer learning to climb, "hook'n" a pole, or whatever you want to call it as "old school"....
Mostly also because for the most part, all of the folks who could climb, who did climb, who worked the lines called
it "old school". The "old" way of doing things...a brotherhood was formed, and men hung on to that principle...
Your statement almost sounds like you are challenging the brotherhood with a question, that goes to the core
of older lineman....Can anyone correct me?.....
