Hello to all Cable brothers! I just wanted to post this message. So that some of you can see and heard about it. Be aware of the guy name Jeff Bowles. Who used to be runing a show for Interactive cable in Tucson, Arizona. Basically he was a footage snatcher. He was a sub as well as lead splicer.
And I was happened to be subing under him. Whenever we got on a new node, he make a mark on the print. Long footage spand was his and short footage spand was our. He also steal footage from our daily production.Bottom line is that, he work 3 days a week and get more footage than we spliced 5 days a week. Anyway, I am been in this business for 14 years.
It would not work out for me and I quited after 3 months.
He and his company withholding retainage of splicer.Even when you fixed your gigs and intend not to paying you. Other time,
Himself went out there and fixed your gigs without telling you
Or given you an opportunity to fixed. And he claim he has to fixed those un seen gigs and back charged from your paycheck.
So be aware that, if you have to deal with him or his company.
I feel that new Dog try to trick old Dog with a new trick!
I alway believed fair and honest work, and fair and honest pay. But not happening in this Cable industries nowadays. All I can seen and heard Dog is eating another Dog! Merry Christmas and good luck to you all.
