Re: This is new about feds. WARNING!

I didn't believe in it totally. I could see the merit but it opened too many doors that any party could use. You don't see the Dems changing it now that they can use it. It was just a tool to put Bush down and rightfully so. I think allowing any agency to spy on American citizens for any reason is wrong. And they did it with a scare tactic about terrorism. I don't think they needed it for terrorism. If they have credible intel on suspicious characters then they can monitor them legally. They will do it anyway. But the patriot act just gave them the legal means to do something illegal in my opinion. Now that I made a short story long......I don't like it.
