Best place I have worked was for N.S.T. in Largo Fl. back around 1997.
Started out at $16.00 per hour, we worked 10 hours a day 6 days a week doing connector change outs.
We were NOT allowed to change more than 7 connectors a day and had 10 hours to get it done!!!
(If you know nothing about splicing, that is about 1/2 hours worth of work)
We got 40 hours of (personal) time off every 6 months, and 40 hours vacation the FIRST 6 months and 80 hours vacation EVERY 6 months there after.  (Hence, 140 hours off paid the FIRST year, and 180 hours off paid every year after)
Most of the guys were great to work with, and management treated every one with respect.
NEVER got screwed one penny all the time I was there.  Unfortionatly, they went bankrupt.
(Too generous I guess)
