Re: moose!

Yeh, it gets the ol'e blood pumping, thats for sure. But it's cool as hell, when your that close, to a total, wild animal. I was on an elk hunt, walking a ridge, when I stopped to take a break. I was sitten next to a pine tree, when this black bear came out of the timber 10 feet away. He didn't see me, but I saw him. Looked to be around a 400 pounder. Had the tree between me and him. He stopped at this dead fall log, started digging under it. I watched him for about 5 minutes, 10 foot away. Then he walked off. That was the only time I did not have a camera.
