HENRY COUNTY, Ga. -- Henry County police arrested the owner of Communications Industry Services Inc. after police said they found well over a million dollars in stolen cable equipment in his home. Capt. Jason Bolton of the Henry County Police Department said officials executed a search warrant Monday around 10 a.m. at a home on Oak Grove Lane in McDonough. Authorities discovered over a million dollars in stolen cable equipment inside the house, police said. Bolton said victims include Comcast Cable, Charter Communications and Georgia Power. Representatives from the companies were called to the scene to identify their equipment. Police arrested the homeowner, Dallas Goddin, 31, and charged him with theft by receiving. Police said Goddin owns his own business -- Communications Industry Services Inc. At the time of the search warrant and the arrest, members of the Henry County Police Department's narcotics unit were in the process of making another undercover purchase of stolen equipment at the residence, Bolton said.
