Once fell into the same situation, wanting to rent a drill for a short period of time. I found Vermeer in Annapolis, Maryland willing to rent a drill. The cost with rental and deposit for one month was about $15000 and the person renting had to supply your own trailer to haul the drill. The price of the rental did include drill rods, but no drill head, back reamers, swivels,ect. Depending on want size product you are drilling in and ground condition, probally want to add on at least $2000-3000 for tooling.
