3M Chemical Shrink Boot......Good luck chuck with that stuff, Use Box wrenches NOT CRESENT WRENCHES on your fittings, after that take some emery cloth(plumbers Tape) to sand the corners on your fittings, Wd40 spray the fitting, and pray when you slide it over your fitting, I used to keep a coffee can with a lid on it and dump the chemical from the fresh packs in it and keep my open packs in the can to keep it from shrinking in the bag, any little burr on the fitting while it is shrinking will act like a knife and, zip it's gone.
There is nothing worse then the feeling you get, when you are on the ground admiring your 875 thru trunk amp with 3 feeder out's and get hit in the head from a rubbery piece of black stuff as it splits and falls from the fittings, or you are driving your run back at the end of the day and see missing boot.
the shit sucks, you have to put it on the outage sheet for the next day to replace it before the QC guy gets there and takes the whole location away from you just for a .500 feeder boot
