Since you are put in charge....that doesn't mean do everything. Performance is different from teaching. Inquire at the closest community college for the possibility of them running a short course for you. With all the materials and equipment in hand you must establish a satisfactory end result for your instructional program and then get new students to that goal. This could be a promotion to a level of incompetence,,,,,,,great technical person is promoted to an area of no competence (instructor). Find and supervise a competent technical area teacher.
