It sounds like you’re a contractor of a contractor that has a contract with O/O. This is the problem with the industry (besides the low wages and bogus back charges) this line is so thin that every min you across back and forth from being a contractor to being an employee….
But it all goes back to putting a value on the relationship with you and your clients.
Client A, the company that you have your contract with.
Client B, possible future client.
You want to keep both clients happy unless there are pay issues, but most importantly you want to work on the relationship with the person at the O/O Office for future business.
So if you want to pull the “power trip” on how you’re an independent contractor, it will end all of your relationships with current and future business. This is one way to look at it!
