Re: training help


Go back to the owner of your company and let him know that you are in over your head.

#1 - The technical material should already be on-hand with the company.  If they don't have it, then there is nothing for you to teach. (a company that has NO training material should be a RED FLAG)
#2 - There is A LOT more to training adults than just handing out spec. sheets and showing a few mock ups. LOTS LOTS More.  Adults learn differently. Not good, not bad, just different. 

Based on your post.  You are going to have a lot of people quit the company long before they ever hit the field.  You are going to get frustrated in your sessions and your performance as a trainer is going to cost you the job.  The company owner can't have qualified people quitting over a bad instructor.  That costs them money and you know how long they put up with that for.
