Marty, He was buying them at a fence supply. Fence supply companies sell 1.9 and call it 2. Just like lumber yards call 1.75x3.5 a 2x4. If you have any doubt about your poles, if I were you I would contact your fsm and meet him in the field and show him your poles to make absolutely sure they are Wildblue approved. I have contacted fence supply companies and steel yards where I live to check for the actual 2inch poles and have never found them outside of DOW, DSI, or Perfect 10. They must be galvanized, They must be 8 Ft long, They must be minimum of 9gauge or schedule 40. EMT is too thin if that is what your using. 9 gauge or sched 40 is about 1/8th of an inch thick. I you are actually getting them for that price I would love to know who your supplier is so that I could get some too. What do you do with the 4 ft of waste?
