i agree with the choice. many people are so strung out on drugs or other problems that they make themselves unemployable and must do what they can to get by. but it is their choice. these are the ones who end up living homeless as a way of life, by choice.
the ones that lose their jobs do to lay offs and then lose their houses, especially when they have family, these are the ones that just need a quick hand and can get back on their feet.
the ones that are stone cold mentally ill, through physical brain damage or complete mental breakdown, i have no problem getting them off the street and keeping them somewhere safe. this may make me a softie or a pushover, but i dont object to taking care of these people through government programs.
